| Rickman was chatty and sarcastic - far from the hushed, suffering persona he often plays. He has a rather gothic face, so I decided to make a rather gothic portrait. Like many of my celebrity shoots, this was done in a bland, modern hotel room. The trick is to choose your corner, and to darken and blur the details that might ruin the mood. |
