 I'd have a hard time thinking of a lazier subject - he had no apparent intention of moving, or exerting the slightest effort for the camera. It's at moments like this that you know you're shooting a celebrity. Ultimately, he knew something I didn't; Maguire is a remarkably magnetic actor onscreen, and his bare minimum of effort somehow translated into something only the camera could read - a hint of charisma I was surprised to see as I made the prints. |
